The Educators’ Institute 2026

Unique Minds, Remarkable Potential

The Educators’ Institute brings together educators, leaders, and partners from across Ontario to share practical, evidence-informed strategies that support students with learning disabilities (LDs), ADHD, and other learning needs.

Held virtually on August 18 and 19, 2026, this year’s Institute focuses on connecting research and classroom practice to strengthen literacy and numeracy, build thinking and learning skills, foster belonging and well-being, and promote equity in Ontario schools.

Participation for Ontario publicly funded educators is supported through Ministry-funded access allocated through school boards. An interest list will open in March 2026. Additional participation opportunities will be shared later in 2026.

Why LD@school?

Students with LDs make up the largest group within special education, at approximately 40% of students identified as exceptional by an IPRC [i]. With the right supports, these students CAN learn, and can achieve great success at school and beyond.

With support from the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Special Education/Success For All Branch, LD@school provides Ontario educators with meaningful information to support students with LDs.
